Travel Swap Shop understood that experiences outweigh any other thing when you are on a trip. After Covid the market was ripe for folks to get to travel again, and taking this opportunity it came up with a marketplace for itinerary travelers could enjoy.
Product Summary
We built a Custom eCommerce Marketplace App based on Open Source CMS Strapi that would facilitate buyers and sellers of itineraries on the platform. Payment integration was setup as per marketplace rules with refund and cancellation features.
The Travel Swap Shop app is designed as a dynamic marketplace for travelers to buy and sell personalized itineraries, fostering interaction between users seeking unique travel experiences. Key features include a custom CMS for easy file downloads, a split payment system for efficient commission distribution, and dynamic seller commissions to reward high-performing sellers.
The app also integrates a review system to enhance trust among users, a fully customizable front end built on React, and the ability for users to favorite itineraries for later reference.

Travel enthusiasts often struggle to find personalized itineraries that suit their unique travel preferences. Existing platforms lack a seamless interaction between buyers and sellers, leading to missed opportunities for both parties. Furthermore, the absence of integrated payment solutions and user engagement features limits the marketplace’s potential.
Solution Provided
The Travel Swap Shop eCommerce app was developed as a comprehensive marketplace for itineraries. It includes a Custom CMS Integration that allows users to download files with their purchases, while the Split Payments Setup facilitates direct commission payments to the platform.
Additionally, the app offers a Dynamic Seller Commission feature, providing custom percentage settings for high-performing sellers, and an Integrated Reviews System to support user feedback on itineraries. The front end is built using React, ensuring a fully customizable and responsive interface. Users can also utilize the Favorites Functionality to save itineraries for future reference.
Results
